We've seen what bad IT looks like. We built ours to be different.

We started as IT auditors, reviewing managed service contracts, tracking SLA compliance, and documenting gaps between what businesses pay for and what they actually receive.

After auditing hundreds of IT provider relationships, the pattern was clear: most small businesses were overpaying for services that were never fully delivered. Monitoring that cut corners, backups nobody tested, and patches months behind.

So we built our own. We didn't set out to be the biggest IT company; we set out to be the one that actually does what it says.

We audit IT providers for a living. We built ours to pass our own standards.

How we got here

Mr. Fix IT Geeks started as a consulting firm that reviewed IT contracts for small businesses. We would sit down with the vendor's scope of work, compare it to what was actually deployed, and document the gaps. The same problems showed up everywhere: backup systems that had never been tested, monitoring tools that only checked whether machines were on, and patch schedules weeks or months behind. Businesses with five employees were paying the same per-device rates as companies with two hundred, getting the same neglect either way. After enough of those audits, we stopped writing reports about what providers should do and started building a service that does it. We designed every tier around what we kept flagging as missing: verified backups, real-time alerting, honest monthly reporting, and pricing that makes sense for a company with fifteen devices or fewer.

What we stand for

Transparency

We publish our pricing. We send monthly reports you can actually read. No jargon, no buried fees.

Simplicity

One plan, one price, one number to call. We handle the complexity so you don't have to.

Accountability

We audit ourselves to the same standards we hold other IT providers to. If we promise it, we deliver it.

Proof

Your monthly report shows every patch applied, every threat blocked, every backup verified. We don't ask you to take our word for it.

Our approach to managed IT

Every service we offer traces back to something we found broken during an audit. We saw providers running monitoring that only checked if a device was online, so we built ours around Zabbix with custom thresholds for disk health, CPU, memory, and network per client. We saw backup vendors who could not produce a successful restore log, so we deployed UrBackup with Backblaze B2 and built automated restore testing into the process. We saw security sold as a checkbox, so we paired managed endpoint detection with Wazuh for file integrity monitoring and vulnerability scanning. The tool stack is open-source where reliability and transparency matter, and best-in-class commercial where the risk of getting it wrong is too high. Every tool was selected because we had written audit findings about the thing it replaces.

The monthly report is the backbone. It is not a PDF full of charts you never asked for. It shows every patch applied, every threat blocked, every backup completed and verified. If we promised it in your plan, it shows up in the report. If it does not show up, we failed, and you will know.

We keep our client count small on purpose. We serve businesses with fifteen devices or fewer. That means you talk to people who know your setup, not a rotating helpdesk. When something breaks at 2pm on a Tuesday, we already know what is running on your machines before you call.
